My first IG post on @middleofalovestory was on the 25th of June, 2019, so as much as I would like to say that this website is a COVID baby and was a lightbulb moment during quarantine, it actually took all of 11 months for me to launch the site, and only with the help of my husband/webmaster. In many ways, I suppose you can still say it’s borne out of COVID, because the time inside propelled me to actually bunker down and launch it.
You will find some of my posts peppered on the site already (see Mathis, Leo, Me, Boracay). That said, you may already have some idea on facets of my life and why I wanted to launch a website that deals with love in its many forms, because I try to remember to experience it everyday. Without love for my family, I would probably have very little to go on in life.
I always had a clear idea of what I wanted the website to be: a go-to for stories that may uplift you on those days you are so down, and need a reminder that no matter how low a point you think you are at in life, there is always hope that things can get better, coupled with a genuine willingness to change your perspective.
I find myself gaining so much more from reading the stories here that I sincerely hope you also find some inspiration from them. Reading about other people’s lives reminds me of how little we know of one another’s struggles. But where there is love, there is always hope. Love, in any and all its forms.
Please come with me as we discover more stories together.
Love,
Kariz
